In the Room
Events
Amsterdam is the city where my creative career was launched. The third spaces we helped curate (between the basements, the galleries, and the in-between bars) are where community actually happens. These are the nights and spaces I organised, built, and held.
Social Footprints: Innocence & Otherwise
curated by Zsofi Ronai
Pop-Up Exhibition
April 23rd 2026
Wanakam, Amsterdam
I built this from the ground up. Finding the right curator in Zsofi Ronai, shaping the visual artists programme, and holding the logistics together throughout. On the night I was there in every sense: as organiser, as exhibiting artist, and as the person connecting people across the room who needed to meet each other.
Role: Lead Event Organiser & Exhibiting Artist
Responsibilities: Curator sourcing · Visual artists department lead · Venue coordination · Full event logistics · Artist liaison · Audience connection facilitation
Producer Workshop
April 8th & 9th 2026
@droog, Amsterdam
This was created as a space for filmmakers at all levels (especially those without easy access to industry resources) to learn, connect, and grow. I approached Lisa Danilkovych of Motion Dames Productions to lead the teaching, secured Droog as the venue, and built the programme across two sessions covering everything from pre-production through to post. The workshop, unfortunately, was cancelled by the venue due to ticket minimums not being met, but the need it was designed to fill is real, and I'll keep building towards it.
Role: Lead Organiser
Responsibilities: Concept development · Venue sourcing · Programme curation · Industry outreach
thick collective Magazine Launch
February 12th 2026
Toekomstmuziek, Amsterdam
Launching the first edition of thick magazine was a full collective effort. As Head of thick collective, I worked across the events, marketing, music, and magazine departments, helping steer the organisational and logistical layers while the department heads drove the day-to-day. My own photographic work found its place in the magazine itself, and our DJs brought the night to life.
Role: Head of thick collective · Published Photographer
Responsibilities: Cross-department coordination (events, marketing, magazine) · Organisational oversight · Logistics management · Editorial contribution
Echo Recordings x AOS x thick collective
Cultural Event
September 26th 2025
OT301, Amsterdam
thick collective was invited into this collaboration for the art and entertainment, and I made sure we showed up fully. I led the organizing of the exhibiting artists, coordinated live painting activations, and brought in small businesses to offer their work and services on the night. I led thick's team throughout, while also acting as the liaison to our two collaborating partners, helping carry the marketing across all three organisations.
Role: thick collective Lead & Art Organiser Responsibilities: Artist curation & coordination · Live painting programming · Small business sourcing · Inter-organisational liaison · Marketing collaboration
Synthescape
thick x Two Angry Men Productions
Film Premiere & Cultural Event
November 9th 2025
FC Hyena, Amsterdam
This was a full-circle moment. Synthescape was the premiere of the film that TAMP had run a fundraiser I had helped bring to life. Coming back to celebrate its completion felt like watching something you quietly believed in arrive. On the night I led the events, fashion, marketing, and visual artists teams, scanned tickets at the door, and then stepped up to host the Q&A, from writing the questions, facilitating the conversation with the filmmaker and protagonist, and opening the floor to the audience.
Role: Lead Organiser & Q&A Host Responsibilities: Multi-team leadership (events, fashion, marketing, visual artists) · Q&A concept & facilitation · VIP management · Audience engagement
Skek Panel
Cultural Event
September 20th 2025
Skek Café, Amsterdam
Skek Café invited me, as Head of thick collective, to speak on a panel with Slim Radio about how creative collectives operate in Amsterdam (internally and externally). I brought along the former Head of thick collective to deepen the conversation and give the audience a fuller picture of how we built what we built. It was a rare chance to articulate the thinking behind the work, not just the work itself.
Role: Panellist & Representative of thick collective
Responsibilities: Panel preparation · Collective representation · Knowledge sharing on creative organisation structures
Solstice
thick x Two Angry Men Productions
Fundraiser Event
June 2024
Sexyland World, Amsterdam
This one started with a connection I made. I brought Two Angry Men Productions and thick collective together — two creative forces who hadn't yet found each other — around TAMP's documentary Parallel. thick provided the marketing muscle, helping amplify their fundraiser to new audiences. I was the person with the idea, and I stayed with it from first conversation to last call of the evening.
Role: Concept Originator & Lead Organiser Responsibilities: Cross-collective partnership brokering · Marketing strategy & execution · Project leadership · Event management
Dis-Connect
Collaborative Event
May 16th 2025
MA'DAM, Amsterdam
Dis-Connect was a three-way collaboration between thick collective, Boogie House, and Off Screen, acting as Head of Events, I held thick's thread of it with the help of my teams. We handled the decoration and designed the art installation at the entrance, sourced two of the DJs, built the social awareness team, and co-led the event on the night with my teammates. Three organisations, one cohesive evening.
Role: Head of Events · thick collective Lead Responsibilities: Inter-collective coordination · Art installation & decoration oversight · DJ sourcing · Social awareness team creation · Event co-leadership
Plug In
thick x Northern Lights Collective
Cultural Event
May 9th 2024
Sexyland World, Amsterdam
This was the first time I led a full inter-collective collaboration from the ground up. I was the main organiser, the liaison between the venue, the two collectives, every invited artist, and every small business in the room. I conceptualised and ran the marketing, curated the visual artists programme, and sourced two female DJs for the lineup. From the ground up, it was my idea, my project, my responsibility.
Role: Main Organiser, Visual Arts Curator & Marketing Lead
Responsibilities: Full event organisation · Inter-collective & venue liaison · Visual artists curation · Marketing conception & execution · DJ sourcing · Small business coordination
New Faces
Cultural Event
October 12th 2024
Sexyland World, Amsterdam
New Faces conceived for the new people in our collective and surrounding friends to come together and meet. I built the marketing campaign, led the events department, and showed my own work on the night alongside a lineup of DJs I helped put together. It was thick collective planting its flag, an introduction to what we were building and who we were bringing with us.
Role: Concept Originator, Team Lead & Exhibiting Artist
Responsibilities: Event concept & leadership · Marketing campaign conception & execution · Events department management · DJ curation · Exhibiting artist
thick Exhibition
February 28th 2025
What Is Happening Here Gallery, Amsterdam
Bringing this group exhibition together meant working on every front at once — organising the event, leading the marketing campaign, and finding and collaborating with the right curator to give the work a proper context. I also showed my own photography. Off Screen ran a Q&A on the night, and I was asked to speak about my art — one of those conversations that reminds you why you make things.
Role: Event Organiser, Marketing Lead & Exhibiting Artist
Responsibilities: Exhibition organisation · Curator sourcing · Marketing campaign lead · Artist coordination · Public Q&A participant
Saudi Media Forum
February 17th–23rd 2025
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
This one started at IBC in Amsterdam, where I was hired by the IRF Group to represent the Saudi Media Forum and generate interest among conference attendees. That work led to an invitation from the Saudi Broadcasting Agency to join the IRF team in Riyadh as VIP Guest Manager. Alongside my superior, I looked after 70+ high-profile executives; orchestrating arrivals, curating meaningful connections, and co-organising a luncheon with Boris Johnson. High-stakes, high-touch, and exactly the kind of environment I thrive in.
Role: VIP Guest Manager & Booth Representative
Responsibilities: VIP logistics & arrivals · Executive relationship management · High-profile event coordination · Stakeholder engagement
Exhibitions
The following exhibitions have been spaces where intimacy was intentional, warmth was designed, and curiosity was the code. My work has adorned the walls of galleries, clubs, and bars, and in doing so, I have found myself part of something larger: a slow, collective reclaiming of what creativity looks like, sounds like, and who it belongs to. Amsterdam has been the room where that started for me.
